Ljubljana, 12 March (STA) - Telekom Slovenije said it had provided a EUR 15m capital increase for its Kosovo subsidiary Ipko Telecommunications on Monday. The injection comes roughly a month after Telekom bought the 7% of the company still held by minority shareholders to become the full owner.
Ipko, which celebrated 10 years of operations last year, is the leading provider of fixed communication services in Kosovo, holding a 47% market share in fixed broadband subscriptions. In mobile telephony, it has more than 750,000 users and a 35.1% market share.
In February, Telekom Slovenije paid EUR 2.98m for the outstanding stake in the Kosovo subsidiary, which posted a EUR 6m loss in 2016.« Back
