Ljubljana, 10 January (STA) - Slovenia's industrial output rose by 7.9% in the first 11 months of 2017 year-on-year, show data released by the Statistics Office on Wednesday. In November alone the output increased by 0.7% on the year before and by 9.9% year-on-year.
Compared to the average of 2010, output was up 28.5%. Standing out is the manufacturing of high-tech products, which has seen as 73.6% increase.
Manufacturing, expanding by 1.2% was the only sector to record growth on the monthly level. Mining and quarrying saw the biggest drop (4%).
In November industrial enterprises generated 0.6% more turnover than in October. At the annual level, turnover increased by 13.4%.
The value of stocks of finished and unfinished production in November was up 1% on October, while it was down 5.2% on the annual level and by 20.6% compared to the average of 2010.« Back
