Slovenia was ranked 15th among the world's safest places to visit after the pandemic.
The list was published by the US business magazine Forbes. The criteria were based on the actual contamination with coronavirus and on factors such as availability of hospital beds and face masks, hygiene protocols, and rules on social distancing. Slovenia fully opened its tourist facilities on June 1st – with only nightclubs and discotheques as an exception. The country also gradually opened its borders to EU citizens and other nationals.
