London, 04 November (STA) - A total of 22 Slovenian companies are being presented at the four-day World Travel Market which got underway in London on Monday. The 2,000th anniversary of Ljubljana is among the central Slovenian topics at what is a leading event in the travel industry.
Along with the Emona MM - 2000 Years of Ljubljana project, the presentation of Slovenia and Ljubljana as the host of the 2014 ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) travel convention is in the focus of the Slovenian stall.
A lot of interest has already been expressed regarding the announced new airline route between Britain in Slovenia. From May to September next year flag carrier Adria Airways will connect Ljubljana to Manchester and Gatwick twice a week.
Slovenia is moreover continuing to promote itself on the British market as a green, active and healthy destination, Slovenia's investment and tourism promotion agency SPIRIT said in a press release.
