Ljubljana, 04 April (STA) - A Slovenia-Kosovo business conference was held in Ljubljana Thursday in a bid to promote trade. The participants showed significant interest in cooperation, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS), which hosted the event in conjunction with the American Chamber of Trade in Kosovo.
GZS president Samo Hribar Milič noted in his address that Slovenia was a key investor in Kosovo as well as an entry point for Kosovar companies that want to do business in the EU, the GZS said in a press release.
Berat Rukiqi, the secretary general of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, highlighted IT and the food industry as key areas of potential cooperation. He also noted there was huge demand in Kosovo for the exchange of business know-how.
