Ljubljana, 07 October (STA) - Marko Jazbec has been approved for another five-year term as the CEO of insurer Sava Re. The supervisory board, headed by Davor Ivan Gjivoje jr., said that Jazbec was doing a very good job at managing the company and successfully implementing its strategy.
"Despite the conditions on the capital markets, both Sava Re and Sava Insurance Group have recorded outstanding operating results over the last four years under Jazbec's leadership," Gjivoje said according to Sava Re's announcement on Thursday.
Preparations for the next strategic period (2023-2027) are already underway, and Sava's chief supervisor explained that the supervisory board believes a new mandate for Jazbec will ensure continuity.
Jazbec's current term expires on 12 May 2022.
Jazbec was appointed CEO of the Sava reinsurance company by its supervisors in December 2016 and took office on 12 May 2017, when he obtained clearance from the Insurance Supervision Agency.
