Ljubljana, 20 April (STA) - Industrial revenues in Slovenia were up in February by 3% compared to January, and rose 6% year-on-year, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
The value of new orders in February increased by almost 5% compared to the month before, and by more than 12% on the annual level.
Sales revenues increased in February in manufacturing by more than 3%, and were down in mining and quarrying by almost 12%, according to the office.
While revenues in intermediate goods industries and in consumer goods industries increased by more than 2% and 1%, respectively, they were down in capital goods industries by 3%.
In the first two months of 2010, revenues decreased on the domestic market by almost 4% compared to the same period in 2009, while increasing on foreign markets by 8%.
