Ljubljana, 10 January (STA) - Slovenia's industrial output was up by 2.8% in November compared to the month before, by 10.1% compared to November 2020, and by 8.7% compared to the pre-pandemic November 2019. Output was up in mining and quarrying, and in manufacturing, the Statistics Office said on Monday.
The total value of industrial production was 2.8% higher than in October 2021. In manufacturing and in mining and quarrying it was higher by 3.2% and by 2.6%, respectively, while it was 2.9% lower in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.
At the monthly level, output in November increased in all categories - by 2.7% in capital goods industries, by 2% in intermediate goods industries, and by 1.7% consumer goods industries.
Total turnover in industry was 4.3% higher at the monthly level and 17% higher year-on-year. The total value of inventories was also up at the annual level, by 11%.
