  • Average gross pay of 64% of employees below average last year

    Ljubljana, 25 September (STA) - The average monthly gross pay in Slovenia stood at EUR 1,851 in 2019, which is 4.1% more than the year before. The figure was higher than the national average for men and lower for women. A total of 64.4% employees got lower pay than the average, the Statistics Office announced this week.

  • Business sentiment up for fifth consecutive month in September

The sentiment indicator stood at -4.1 percentage points, up 2.4 percentage points on August and down 8.7 points year-on-year. The latest figure is lower by 4.2 percentage points compared to the long-term average, said the Statistics Office on Thursday.
