They can be made almost invisible or can be covered with decorative plates made of natural materials. Production costs match those of higher-end mechanical switches and dimmers, but our products offer much more to the buyer. Anigmoteh has developed and patented these products. Production will continue to be outsourced to companies in Slovenia. We will first concentrate on the B2B market. We will build awarness among architects, interior designers, installers and integrators through advertising in specialised media, public relations, trade fairs and direct contacts. Once they are familiar with our products they can offer new solutions to their clients. Selling to private customers through retail chains and specialised shops will follow after we have established a market presence with several projects and the general public takes notice of touchless light switches. We will contact producers of home automation systems, lamps, caravans and yachts directly. A crucial step will be contracting distributors that offer related products and have established contacts with wholesalers in their countries. The general market for light switches in North America and Europe is over 100 mln pieces per year. Most of them are sold through home improvement retail chains. Prices for switches range from under €2 to €25 and beyond. Important players are Legrand, ABB, Bticino, etc. The professional market is comprised of architects, developers, installers and integrators, who work on projects and buy the wiring products from specialised wholesalers. A producer with a wider range of products for both line voltage and voltage has a clear advantage, because wholesalers and customers prefer to buy all products from a few suppliers. The second B2B market are producers of home automation systems, lamps, caravans and yachts. They buy our products and integrate them into their own. Anigmoteh is also at the forefront of dimming technology. We have developed and patented the best method for dimming energy saving lamps. The method is not limited to our touchless dimmers and is being licenced to other manufacturers of wiring devices.
All vital technology has already been developed, tested nd patented. The initial focus has been on low volume high added value products, whereas in 2013 we will introduce mass-market touchless light switches and dimmers. Our products are installed in private homes, commercial and public buildings. Until now they have been sold exclusively in North America in small quantities to test the market. We will now shift our focus on the markets of Germany, Austria and the UK.
We offer two investment opportunities. One is a minority share in the company. In exchange for additional funds needed to finance expansion in the next 2-3 years, the investor is given the opportunity to achieve high return on his investment within five years, when the majority share of the company can be sold to a strategic investor or a private equity fund. The second option is the purchase of licenses for North America, a license for touchless switches and dimmers and/or a license for the method of dimming of energy saving lamps. The investor then finds sublessees and achieves income on the difference in fees. This dimming method is not limited to our products. It can be easily implemented in standard electronic dimmers and the production cost are only marginally higher.
Budget / Total Cost
Premoney valuation is €7.5 mln. The calculation is based on the founders investment of €0.5 mln, planned sales for the first 4-5 years and the income derived from licence fees. With the technology market-tested, relatively low Capex and a high added value, we can operate at break even point within 24 months, without further investment rounds at a yearly sales volume of €1.5 mln depending on the income derived from the licence fees.
We seek an investment of €1.5 mn. €300,000 is required to finance Capex, patent maintenace and other fixed costs and the rest for stock, promotion, travel costs, services, salaries and working capital. Some of the funds will be invested in professional assistance with signing further licence agreements. Licence fees will be a major source of income on mid-term.
Both the touchless switches and dimmers as well as the method for dimming energy saving lamps are patented, technically well above the competition, and have a clear market potential.
