LENDAVA BUSINESS PARK

An enterprise friendly environment

Municipality of Lendava
Old City Center of Lendava

Old City Center of Lendava

The Municipality of Lendava stretches across 123 km² in the north-east of Slovenia in the Pomurje region. Home to around 12,000 inhabitants, it boasts historical and cultural sights, unspoilt countryside, health spas, a network of cycle paths, and wine routes.  As hosts, local people are hospitable, as workers, they are hard-working, loyal and always customer-friendly. As entrepreneurs, they are open-minded and innovative, as well as practical and  quick to help you put your business ideas into practice.

Lendava lies on the important Barcelona-Kiev route (pan-European transport corridor V). Passenger and commercial traffic passing through the three border crossings is intense – every year two million people, 500,000 cars and 300,000 trucks drive through the municipality. Zagreb airport is 110km away, Graz is 150km, Ljubljana 200km and Budapest 230km. The Port of Koper is 300km away on Slovenia’s Adriatic coast. There is also a recreational airfield in Murska Subota, 30km from Lendava.

The Lendava business park covers 1.86km², with 160,000m² of land for development  equipped with modern infrastructure and the possibility of extending by further 500,000m², depending on investors' requirements. The owner is the municipality of Lendava and the business park is an integral part of the municipality’s spatial regulation plans. The Lendava business park is managed by Development Fund Lendava. Investors can select plots of 2,000m² or more; individual plots can be joined together where investors require larger areas.

A business incubator that operates in the Business Park offers also production facilities in a building owned by the Development Public Fund of Lendava.
