Aparthotel Pohorje is owned by the company A.A. Trade d.o.o. and was renovated in 2001. Now the hotel combines modern comfort with contemporary furnished apartments and superb food. The next phase should begin in cooperation with a strategic partner; it would encompass additional accommodation capacities and a wellness programme, plus a multipurpose sports hall in the shape of an amphitheatre with a movable stand designed for hosting sports teams from Slovenia and abroad, and for organising various larger sporting, cultural, entertainment and business events.

Mariborsko Pohorje – Pohorje countryside near the city of Maribor in northern part of Slovenia.

Description

The project encompasses:

Modification of some apartments into single or double hotel rooms (altogether 242 beds). The structure of accommodation capacities: 21 apartment units with four (2 + 2) beds and 80 double rooms.

The existing object would be expanded with a superstructure and an extension. New areas would include a garage, a restaurant, a congress centre, a wellness centre, fitness, swimming pools and a multipurpose sports hall.

Arrangement of access routes, green plot, garden, parking places, lighting and a fountain. In front of the hotel an asphalt parking lot is needed. Access to the hotel will be possible via a circular ramp to the entrance of the hotel.

Preparation of tourist packages, which will attract tourists mainly from European Union.

The Grand Hotel Panorama Pohorje will be a modern hotel building offering all comfort. In the hotel there will be a central reception area, a restaurant with regional specialities, a conference hall, a wellness centre and a multipurpose sports hall with a stand for spectators. The wellness centre will include saunas, a swimming pool and a restaurant with healthy food. It will differ from other classical wellness centres by its unique natural environment, high-quality hotel accommodation and professionally qualified employees and therapeutics.

The hotel will assure excellent training conditions for top athletes, who will be an additional target group. Long-term vision is to become the first choice for sports team preparation, as well as the organisation of active holidays for families and individuals. This offer will be extended to congress tourism, which is developing more and more in Slovenia.

The complex of hotel objects will comprise five corpuses which create:

A hotel building with four floors that is located on the hill above the terrace of the restaurant with a view,

An accommodation building with four floor,

Detached residential building in the extension of the new construction,

On the elevated ground floor: an entering reception area with a hall and a bar, a restaurant and a terrace on the roof with excellent view,

Recreational and wellness object with restaurants and bars,

Multipurpose sports hall.

Gross area:

Existing objects – accommodation capacity of 224 beds: 5,796 m2

New construction of the extension and superstructure to the existing tract: 4,950 m2

Exterior arrangement of the access routes and areas: 3,060 m2
