24.10.2007 Foreign Direct Investors of 2006 Award On October 23, the Ljubljana Railway Museum took on a post-modern atmosphere, with 19th century locomotives coexisting with uplifting 21st century electronic music and flashy presentation on flat screens at the award ceremony for the second Foreign Direct Investor of the Year Award. This year’s winners of the award for the most successful and progressive Slovenian companies with foreign capital input exceeding 10 per cent are the producer and developer of district heating technology Danfoss Trata, the manufacturer and developer of component parts for household appliances ITW Metalflex and the pharmaceutical company Lek Novartis. The event was organised by the Slovenia Times in cooperation with the Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investment (JAPTI). |
